This program is for Contact Improvisers who want to develop their CI teaching skills and grow within a supportive group of peers.  A structured program in pedagogy, safety, partner work, facilitation, and creative practice designed to support emerging and experienced CI teachers.

You’ll explore and learn how to observe, analyse classes, create a teaching environment, practice co-teaching, receive feedback, and refine your teaching voice.

Several levels of participation are available – from the 5-day intensive teachers core training alone to combining it with the summer week intensive technical workshop, or the Deep Dive 7 Weekends Year Program.

This program requires commitment and a genuine wish to be present and learn in order to bring this back to your own city/community. 

You will learn what kind of teaching is suitable for you, and what kind of Contact teacher you can grow to be – from holding a lab or a jam, to teaching in festivals and creating your own weekly classes with a growing dancing community.

Contact Improvisation is an open source, there is no need for a certicficate to start teaching, you can do it right now, however teaching Contact Improvisation is an art in itself. If this a path you want to go for, this training can help you find inspiration, avoid pitfalls, and give you many tools for the road.

During the full year program you will have 3 guest teachers to share their material and you can observe and learn from different teaching styles. During the core week training I share with you over 20 years of experience in teaching it.

PRE-REQUIRMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years of CI experience + short biography + motivation letter.
