Dance & Contact Improvisation based on Mindfulness – 15.12.2013

vietnam-nhatrang-buddha-544796-oIn this workshop we will work on attention to every movement, stance and intention inside us that leads to change, we will explore what leads us in our surrounding, and hopefully feel the refine impulses that occurs within us.

Mindfulness is the practice of becoming more aware to our inner and outer surrounding, to become aware of sensation, feelings and movement. To respond to every impulse with the proper response and to become more present in the here and now.

In many aspects Dance Improvisation and Contact Improvisation represents these principles and allow us to better attune and reach that state. Improvisation for me is the art of HERE AND NOW, either in dance or in a mutual movement in contact Improvisation.

Those 2 vehicles of movement store in them a vast body of information that can help us to reach a higher state of awareness.

Join for a Dance as a mediation form, and improvisation as a mindfulness act.
